Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

A Letter to Love…

Dear Love,

I dream of your eyes… I dream of your smile and even when I wake up I can still remember your scent. Even though I may not know who you are, but when we meet you’ll be just how I imagined you to be. I know you’ll love me more than I love myself. I know you’ll give 100% of your time and efforts to make me the happiest girl in the world; unconditionally. You’ll pay attention to things that I like and dislike & most importantly you’ll still accept me for all my flaws.

I can tell you now, I’ll fall hopelessly and place all my trust in you. You’ll have me believing that you were meant for me. I will go out of my ways to be with you, even when my friends tell me I’m being stupid, because I know you will do the same. This is a love letter for my future to be.

May we meet, laugh, & love… unconditionally.

Always Yours,

S

[Let your heart do the talking, but may your head do the reasoning.]
Boys & Girls please do yourself a favor and respect yourself enough to know that you deserve so much more. I mean don’t go overboard with your “egocentric-ness”, but know that you can save yourself from so much drama and heart aches if you just smarten up.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
The free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wings in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom

It saddens me whenever I hear about things that are happening in Tibet. But overall I love this picture, because it reminds me of why this cause is so important.]

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings

The free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill for the caged bird
sings of freedom

The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing

The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom
